JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
• Perform industrial electrical installation, inspection, testing, and maintenance activities.
• Diagnose and repair faults on pumps, motors, instrumentation systems, MCCs, and control panels.
• Complete preventive maintenance according to maintenance schedules and operating plans.
• Carry out electrical isolations and issue permits following safety procedures.
• Support contractors and specialist service providers during electrical and automation works.
• Monitor and troubleshoot PLC, SCADA, and telemetry systems.
• Assist with commissioning of electrical and control equipment.
• Support sewage treatment plant operations and environmental compliance.
• Participate in on-call rosters when required.
• Assist with asset management programs and improvement projects.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
• Qualified Supervisor Certificate.
• Minimum Certificate III in Electrotechnology – Electrician.
• Valid Class C Driver Licence.
• General Construction Induction White Card.
• Experience in industrial electrical installation and maintenance.
• Strong understanding of pumps, motors, instrumentation, and control systems.
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
• Good troubleshooting and fault-finding skills.
• Strong commitment to workplace safety and compliance.
Desirable Qualifications and Experience:
• Confined Spaces Certificate.
• Current First Aid Certificate.
• Experience in wastewater, industrial, or process industries.
• Knowledge of PLC and SCADA systems.
• Previous supervisory experience.
• Ability to support automation and reliability improvement projects.
