JOB OVERVIEW
Royal Zenith Global Stars Academy is hiring a Secondary School Science Teacher in Lagos State. The school is looking for a qualified and experienced teacher who can teach science subjects at Junior and Senior Secondary School levels.
The teacher will handle subjects such as Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Integrated Science, and Agricultural Science. The role is suitable for candidates who enjoy teaching young students and helping them prepare for external examinations like WAEC and NECO.
The school wants someone who can create engaging lessons, manage classrooms well, and support students academically. Candidates with strong science knowledge and good teaching experience are encouraged to apply.
The position is onsite and located inside Royal Garden Estate, beside Golf Estate, Lakowe Lakes, Ibeju-Lekki, Lagos State.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Teach Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Integrated Science, and Agricultural Science
- Plan and deliver science lessons for JSS and SSS students
- Prepare lesson notes and teaching materials
- Conduct practical laboratory sessions safely
- Guide students during science experiments
- Prepare students for WAEC, NECO, and other examinations
- Assess student performance regularly
- Record and report student progress
- Maintain discipline and good classroom management
- Support students with academic challenges
- Work with other teachers to improve learning materials
- Attend school meetings and school events
- Participate in parent-teacher meetings
- Support school academic goals and standards
- Use teaching tools and e-learning platforms when needed
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Help students develop interest in science subjects
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- B.Sc. Ed., B.Ed., or B.Sc. with PGDE in a science-related subject
- Strong background in Biology, Chemistry, or Physics
- Valid TRCN certificate or teaching license
- Minimum of 2 years teaching experience in a secondary school
- Good understanding of WAEC and NECO syllabi
- Ability to teach science subjects clearly and effectively
- Good communication skills
- Strong classroom management skills
- Ability to work with students from different backgrounds
- Good interpersonal skills
- Ability to prepare students for external examinations
- Knowledge of practical laboratory activities
- Ability to work as part of a teaching team
- Basic computer knowledge is an advantage
- Experience using digital learning tools is an added advantage
- Must be organized and professional
- Passion for teaching and student development
- Ability to maintain a safe classroom and laboratory environment
SALARY
₦100,000 – ₦150,000 per month depending on experience and qualifications.
