JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
• Develop and support advanced electrical power system technologies
• Create electrical system architectures and design concepts
• Prepare technical specifications and engineering requirements
• Lead electrical technology research and development projects
• Support prototype development and product demonstration activities
• Conduct system modelling, simulation, and validation activities
• Collaborate with internal engineering teams, suppliers, and external partners
• Identify innovative solutions for power generation and distribution systems
• Assist with future electrical supply chain development
• Lead technical problem-solving activities and project definition work
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring to junior engineers
• Support knowledge sharing and engineering best practices

JOB REQUIREMENTS
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (BEng) or equivalent qualification
• Higher degree qualification is advantageous
• Professional engineering background in aerospace electrical systems
• Experience writing technical specifications and engineering documents
• Knowledge of electrical power systems and subsystem integration
• Experience with AC-AC, AC-DC, and DC-DC conversion technologies
• Understanding of electrical machines and power distribution systems
• Knowledge of electrical load analysis and fault analysis techniques
• Strong systems engineering mindset
• Familiarity with systems engineering standards such as ISO/IEC/IEEE 15288 and ARP4754
• Experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) is preferred
• Knowledge of safety and reliability assessment methods is beneficial
• Strong analytical and technical problem-solving skills
