JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Deliver food and beverages to guest rooms and spa areas.
- Provide friendly and professional customer service.
- Prepare and organize room service orders.
- Maintain minibar inventory and restock products.
- Process minibar and room service charges accurately.
- Operate the hotel POS system correctly.
- Follow hotel service standards and safety procedures.
- Handle guest requests and resolve concerns professionally.
- Maintain cleanliness of room service stations and equipment.
- Monitor inventory levels and report shortages.
- Follow cash handling and payment procedures.
- Work closely with kitchen, housekeeping, and hotel departments.
- Maintain knowledge of food, beverages, wines, and hotel services.
- Complete assigned daily and weekly duties efficiently.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous server experience is an asset.
- Luxury hotel or fine dining experience is preferred.
- Knowledge of Opera hotel software is an advantage.
- Knowledge of food, beverages, wine, and menu items.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Excellent teamwork and organizational abilities.
- Ability to resolve guest concerns professionally.
- Able to work under pressure with minimal supervision.
- Good English speaking, reading, and writing skills.
- Physically able to lift up to 75 pounds when required.
- Legally eligible to work in Canada.
