JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Research medical review turnaround times.
  • Process Medical Necessity Review Forms (MNR Forms).
  • Contact healthcare providers when documents are missing.
  • Request forms to be re-faxed when needed.
  • Document all phone conversations accurately.
  • Forward documents to clinical review teams.
  • Notify providers and members according to state regulations.
  • Complete approximately 100 required calls each day.
  • Prepare reports and maintain administrative records.
  • Process outgoing fax communications using company systems.
  • Assist with mailing important documents.
  • Run reports and database queries.
  • Correct data entry errors.
  • Support additional administrative duties as assigned.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • At least 2 years of data entry experience.
  • Good computer and keyboard skills.
  • Experience using Microsoft Word.
  • Experience using Microsoft Excel.
  • Microsoft Access experience is an advantage.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
