UnitedHealth Group is hiring a Customer Service Representative to join its Optum Insight team in Aberdeen, Washington.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Verify patient insurance eligibility.
- Obtain insurance pre-authorizations.
- Communicate with insurance carriers.
- Research and resolve authorization issues.
- Coordinate daily with hospital departments.
- Assist patients with account-related questions.
- Update customer records accurately.
- Use company systems to process healthcare information.
- Complete assigned administrative duties.
- Follow company policies and compliance standards.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- At least 1 year of healthcare authorization experience.
- Experience with patient registration and insurance verification.
- Comfortable using Windows computers and learning new software.
- Ability to work full-time onsite in Aberdeen, Washington.
- Available Monday to Friday between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM PST.
- Willing to work occasional overtime.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Healthcare billing or insurance processing experience is an advantage.
- Experience using insurance websites is beneficial.
- Basic Microsoft Excel skills, including sorting, filtering, and editing data.
- Must pass a pre-employment drug test.
